She attends to the accidents within the photographic process: sunlight baptism, mechanical breakdown, dust, improperly mixed solutions. The results sometimes emerge transformed, unpredictable. The Marseille coast through contaminated film. The unexpected delight found between memory and oblivion, the thresholds they cross, those luminous celestial bodies that consume all space and time only to expel it with staggering energy—quasars, and love ten billion light-years away.
필름 사진의 프로세스 중 일어난 사고와 오류에 주목하는 이미지를 만들어낸다. 햇빛 세례, 기계의 고장, 먼지 혹은 잘못 처리된 용액 등. 이런 프로세스를 지나고 난결과물은 때로 예측할수 없는 형태로 변형되어 있었다. 오염된 필름으로 찍은 마르세유 앞바다, 기억하는 것과 잊혀진 것들 사이에서 발견하는 예기치 못한 기쁨, 이들이 넘나드는 통로, 모든 시공간을 빨아들이고는 이내 그 가공할 에너지로 기어코 내뿜는 밝은 천체, 퀘이사, 그리고 백억 광년 떨어진 사랑.
